We begin by working with small farmers from Maine to Florida to ensure a steady supply of select potatoes. Once at our factory, all the potatoes are hand inspected. Then we cook the chips by hand in small batches, allowing us to closely monitor them. Lastly, the cheddar jack and sour cream is applied and all the finished chips must pass an additional inspection before they are packaged. To ensure that every Cape Cod chip you eat maintains the highest level of quality; each phase of our production is controlled by a qualified chip inspector. At Cape Cod, we use only the best ingredients in making our kettle chips. That's why we insist on cooking in 100% canola oil, which has the lowest saturated fat content of all commercially used vegetable oils.
